About This Special Issue
Despite the widespread use of asphalt in the road domain in recent decades, there are still several challenges in improving the quality of construction and extending the life of asphalt pavement. Facing and addressing these issues is critical to improving pavement performance and enhancing innovation.
This special issue is dedicated to preamble research and innovative technologies in asphalt pavement construction quality control, pavement performance evaluation and pavement improvement lifetimes. Contributions to this particular problem have been discussed in depth on building materials, construction techniques, performance evaluation of asphalt pavement, and various aspects of pavement improvement service life. The aim is to improve the construction quality and service life of asphalt pavement. The topics covered in this particular issue will move a step closer to the architectural goals of reducing energy consumption and extending the life of road surfaces during asphalt pavement construction. This issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and practical applications driving long-life asphalt paving.
